News and Notes:
  • This Week’s No. 13 Ford F-150: The No. 13 Tenda Horse Ford F-150 team will unload for Friday’s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) Strat 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) coming off of a second-place finish at Atlanta.
  • All about Vegas: In his 11 series starts at LVMS, Sauter has led 121 laps, drove to six top-five and eight top-10 finishes and a victory in his first series start at the track in 2009.
  • Take Me Back to Las Vegas 1, 2018: Starting third, Sauter finished seventh in Stage 1 and drove to an eighth-place finish is Stage 2. Battling a handling issue throughout the race, Sauter pitted under green flag conditions calling for right-side tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment. A quick caution came out allowing him an opportunity to challenge the leaders. He was able to track them down, but it wasn’t enough resulting in a second-place finish.
  • Take Me Back to Las Vegas Again, 2018: Having started sixth, Sauter drove to a sixth-place finish in Stage 1 and an eighth-place finish in Stage 2. Contending for his second win at the track, Sauter was leading with five laps to go before multiple caution flags came out setting it up for NASCAR Overtime. Ultimately Sauter finished the race in second.

Chatting with Sauter:

“The past two visits to Las Vegas Motor Speedway we’ve come so close to leaving with a victory. We have a lot of momentum coming off of a second-place finish at Atlanta and I look for that to continue this weekend.”
